This is a kick-starter programme in which you get started and progress with your health and fitness transformation.
The initial session lasts about 90 minutes and the following sessions last for about 1 hour each.
Includes: 6 online sessions, + one follow-up email + one midweek check-in per week, plus extra resources when needed.
This programme has more sessions so that you get started with your health and fitness transformation and have longer to progress and firmly establish your new actions and habits. It also keeps you accountable for longer.

We talk about and work on your overall goal by exploring and focusing on smaller actions that you are able to do, can commit to and are motivated to do.
We keep track of your progress. I can provide some education, we can explore other factors by looking at your whole life and we can use tools for awareness about what does or does not serve you.
At the end of the session, you will have one action to work on for the week. We will check in with each other between sessions for accountability and to keep you motivated!

I'm Amanda, I'm in my mid-fifties and I live in Kent, UK. I'm a certified health coach. I have a PhD in psychology.
I have first-hand experience of going from enjoying physical activity (even though I was that child at school who was last to be picked for every sports team!) to having several physical setbacks in the past 17 years that made moving very difficult for months on end. I have also been an unhealthy weight.
I know the frustration of not being able to be as physically active as desired and of yo-yo dieting. I understand the struggle of starting to get fit and healthy again from a low starting point.
In the past few years, I have looked more closely at what and how I eat and drink, and I'm now back at a stable healthy weight. I got fit again by starting with baby steps which I did consistently and built up gradually. I can now keep up with my family! I feel better, have more energy, and sleep better.
My greater interest in health led to training as a health coach. I now love supporting others so that they can improve their fitness and health and feel great again.
I empathise with how hard it feels to start but I know that small consistent steps and having support lead to greater things!
Qualifications: Psychology BSc (Hons), Psychology PhD, Level 5 Diploma in Health and Wellness Coaching (Health Coaches Academy).
